Dang the Wetter

I haven't really got much to write in past few days. Yep, Big. FAT. Lie. I'm actually beginning to think that I've underestimated the power of updating a blog.

We'll leave it at that.

Today's entry is about the weather.

7.00 am : Tra lala lala. I'm walking down the street in my little black shoes. It ain't too cold and I can feeeeel my hands.

8.00 am : I'm nodding my head to a beat. Katy Perry's ET, in case you're curious. I'm waiting by the lamp post. Oh look, there's water vapour! Oh my, it's coming from me!!

10.00 am : Ah, what a lovely day. ~You are my sunshine, my only sunshine~

11.00 am : Do I hear something? Do you hear something? Gah! It's raining! Quick, close the window!!

12.00 pm : Hey, the sun's back!! Hallo Sunnny! Wie geht's?!

12.40 pm : Eh? Ehhhh?? EhhhhhHHHHHhhhhhh!!! Why is it raining again?!

12.55 pm : Yo Sun. Stay out till I get to the other side of town.

2.15 pm : Don't do it...No...Nooo....NOOOO!!

2.16 pm : ~It's raining, it's pouring~

2.45 pm : AaaHAH! Here's my chance. Catch me if you can, Ye Blasted Rain!

4.00 pm : Is it just me, or does it seem to be getting reeeeally dark in here...??

5.00 pm : Brrrr. It's cold.

5.30 pm : Brrrr brrrr. It's very cold.

6.00 pm : Oh for the love of God. So now you show up eh? And just when I'm headed home.

Guess what? Tomorrow, I'll be armed with an UMBRELLA. Huh.

Now this is my kindda thing..

April Is Hier!

I feel like the last time I wrote in here was during the Stone Age. It's funny, how time works. When you're having a blast, everything speeds up and when you're dying in anxiety over something, time decides to be a big fat meanie. Could this actually be what the theory of relativity covers?

But that's beside the point. Now that I've more or less settled in, I've begun to do things on my own. Like the other day, I went walking around my neighbourhood. Felt really good about it too. It somewhat signifies I am able to care for my own well-being. Which fits well into my big picture of living by myself till I go grey. Or I could just be hermit. Whichever comes first.

Holy shit indeed
Sometime during this week, Papa, Lisa and I went to the kino. Lisa chose a comedy whereas Papa and I opted to watch Hunger Games. It was pretty darn cool. The movie started off sad and ended quite happily. Perfect storyline! There weren't many loiterS in the cinema though. Papa said most Germans prefer to watch movies at home, himself included. I can see why. The tickets for our movie cost €8.30 each. That's equivalent to 2 boxes of oreos AND some spare change. Nonetheless, I couldn't have been more pleased with the outing.

In Germany, movie posters that are no longer wanted go to the public. Hear that Malayisa?

Will Smith lookin damn impressive...

But it's pretty hard to take him seriously when this lil guy is next to him.

*Gasp* I smell like squirrel poo! And I like it.

Slushy and popcorn accompanied me for the night.

Oh go on and guess what this is ;)

Went all bugged eyed when I saw this. Never felt so envious before.

My first movie ticket in Deutschland
The Easter holidays are actually going on right now. And it came at the most perfect moment too. I was running on back up fuel during the last few days of school. There are so many things to be done as soon as school reopens so I'm going to take full advantage of my week long holiday. As it is, I arise at midday and sleep after midnight. Germany sure is getting to me. And I'm currently on a spree of watching movies. I don't really know why the sudden craze, but like hell I'm complaining. XD

The other day I was talking to Hannes and this is what happened.

Hannes : I'm very tired.
Me : Why? What did you do?
Hannes : Oh, nothing special.
Me : *Squinting, dumb look* Heh. There was one time I slept at 3 am, went to school, went to my German course, came back late and slept at 12 am.
Hannes : *Without batting an eyelid* That's cos you're an Asian.
Me : *Batting eyelid. Batting some more* That's brilliant. I'm gonna put that down in my blog.

Papa and I played dominos. Surprisingly enough, I won
So far in Germany, I find that I've not really been overwhelmed by anything. Neither have I been underwhelmed. Just nicely whelmed. Like Joyce Conway. I like bananas.

Oh, and Ma, when you're reading this, you should be sitting down. I've got some news. Bad news. I lost my earring. I can assure you that it was completely accidental. One moment it was there, and the next, WHOSH. Vanished. But it happened in the house. So let's hope I find it.

I can't think of anything more to write, so I'll just sign off here.
Ciao!
